Cookie Notice
This Cookie Notice explains how PandaOne(“we”, “us”, or “our”) uses cookies, local storage, and similar browser technologies on pandaone.dev and related subdomains.
Privacy-First Architecture: Zero Ad Trackers
PandaOne does not deploy third-party advertising cookies, cross-site tracking pixels, or data broker scripts. We only use essential technologies necessary to authenticate your account, secure your session, remember your UI preferences, and diagnose performance.
1. What Are Cookies & Web Storage?
Cookies are small text files stored in your web browser by websites you visit. In addition to cookies, modern web applications may utilize similar browser-based storage mechanisms, including:
- HTTP Cookies — Small pieces of data sent by the server and stored locally to maintain state across requests.
- Local Storage & Session Storage — Client-side key-value storage used to retain interface settings, ephemeral tool state, and cached inputs without sending data across network requests unnecessarily.
2. Categories of Technologies We Use
We categorize the cookies and storage technologies used across PandaOne as follows:
2.1 Strictly Necessary (Essential)
These technologies are essential for the operation, security, and authentication of the platform. Without them, services such as secure login, early-access verification, and CSRF protection cannot function.
- Authentication & Session: Secure session identifiers to keep you logged in to your account.
- Security & Abuse Prevention: Tokens that prevent Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) and protect against automated denial-of-service attempts.
- Load Balancing & Gateway Routing: Directing your requests to optimal server nodes.
2.2 Preferences & Functional Storage
These technologies allow our web applications and free security tools to remember your choices and provide enhanced personalization.
- Theme & Display Settings: Remembering your chosen color scheme (dark mode/terminal theme) and collapsed sidebar states.
2.3 Performance & Diagnostics (Aggregated)
We collect anonymous, aggregated technical metrics to measure page load speeds, scanner response times, and API reliability. These diagnostic metrics help us troubleshoot latency bottlenecks and optimize our autonomous scanning infrastructure.
2.4 Analytics (Optional)
If you choose Accept All on the cookie banner, we load Mixpanel to understand how visitors use the early-access flow (page views and completed signup requests). These cookies are not used for advertising. Choosing Essential Only keeps Mixpanel disabled.
3. Third-Party Services
Some functionality may rely on trusted infrastructure service providers who set essential technical cookies on our behalf:
- Payment Gateways (e.g. Stripe, Razorpay): Fraud prevention and secure checkout session management.
- Cloud Infrastructure (e.g. AWS, Cloudflare): Edge caching, DDoS mitigation, and SSL certificate termination.
- Product Analytics (Mixpanel): Optional. Loaded only after you accept analytics cookies, to measure early-access page views and completed signup requests.
These providers process data strictly in accordance with their contractual agreements and security documentation.
4. Retention & Lifecycle
Technologies used on PandaOne have different lifespans:
- Session Cookies: Temporary cookies erased automatically when you close your web browser.
- Persistent Cookies: Remain stored on your device until they reach their configured expiration date (typically between 30 and 180 days) or until you manually clear your browser cache.
- Local Storage: Persists until cleared directly through your browser data management tools.
5. Managing & Disabling Cookies
You have the right to decide whether to accept or reject optional cookies. You can configure your browser settings to restrict, block, or delete cookies at any time. Below are links to management guides for common browsers:
- Google Chrome Cookie Settings
- Mozilla Firefox Cookie Settings
- Apple Safari Cookie Settings
- Microsoft Edge Cookie Settings
Note: Disabling strictly necessary cookies may prevent authentication and degrade essential platform functionality.
6. Updates to this Notice
We may update this Cookie Notice periodically to reflect technological changes, new platform capabilities, or legal requirements. When changes are published, the “Effective Date” at the top of this page will be updated accordingly.
